Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor 1

Counsels eligible people with disabilities toward employment in mutually agreed upon vocational goals based on an assessment of interest, values capabilities, and vocational impediments; provides information concerning rights, federal and state regulations, agency policies and procedures, confidentiality, comparable benefits, community resources and the Client Assistance Program. Starting salary $28,766.00 annually with excellent benefits.

Specialized positions serving Spanish-speaking consumers will also be available.

Itinerant Teacher of the Visually Impaired

Teachers must be certified or certifiable by the State of Ohio as a Vision Teacher; hold a drivers license; and provide their own transportation.

Duties include:

• Collaboration in student identification
• IEP development pre-school through high school
• Braille instruction
• Vision aide instruction
• Technology instruction
• Book ordering
